Austin S.Hill
Chief Executive Officer
Austin is Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of LPR Energy. He is responsible for managing LPR’s strategic direction, corporate development, acquisition sourcing, and asset management platform. Mr. Hill has twelve years’ experience in oil and gas with ten years in the Appalachian Basin.
Prior to LPR, Austin helped start multiple companies all focused in the Marcellus Shale. The first company, Little Pine Resources, was formed in 2008. In 2010, Little Pine sold their assets to EXCO Resources and BG Group. In 2012, Mr. Hill also co-founded PennMarc Resources, LP, a mineral acquisition company focused in the Marcellus and Utica Shales. PennMarc manages over 10,000 Mineral Acres and is still actively acquiring.
Austin graduated from Southern Methodist University where he received his B.B.A. in Real Estate Finance. Additionally, he earned his Petroleum Land Practices certification from Texas Christian University.
Z. Hunter Hill
Chief Financial Officer
Hunter’s primary responsibilities as Chief Financial Officer and Co-Founder of LPR Energy include oversight of all financial aspects of LPR, including gas marketing and hedging decisions as well as evaluation of development and acquisition opportunities. He has seventeen years’ experience in oil and gas with ten years in the Appalachian Basin.
Before LPR Energy, Hunter served as President of Hill Energy Company where his responsibilities included management of assets in Southern Oklahoma and East Texas. Additionally, Hunter managed multiple oil and gas investment partnerships focused on the acquisition of non-operating working interests in Texas. He has also held advisory positions with STW Resources and Compass Natural Gas Partners.
Hunter holds a B.S. in Entrepreneurial Studies and Finance from Babson College.
Adam Schoppe
Chief Operating Officer
As Chief Operating Officer and Co-Founder of LPR Energy, Adam is responsible for production, operation and development of LPR’s upstream and midstream assets as well as the operational evaluation and assessment of potential acquisitions. Mr. Schoppe brings twelve years of oil and gas operational experience spanning across four North American basins.
Prior to joining LPR Energy, Mr. Schoppe served as Operations Manager for New Concept Energy where he was responsible for production, marketing and regulatory on over three hundred net wells ranging from conventional assets in Appalachia and shallow water Gulf of Mexico to an unconventional JV in the Arkoma. His technical experience includes drilling, completions, and workover programs, upstream/midstream facilities and operations, saltwater disposal, compression and artificial lift applications.
Adam holds a B.B.A. in Finance and a B.B.A. in Energy Commerce from Texas Tech University.
